MCKS meeting with Mang Mike

Mang Mike was introduced to Master Choa Kok Sui by Samuel in about 1975. MCKS visited Mang Mike a few times in Cebu City prior to Mang Mike’s departure for Iran to work as a master baker. He was kind and very accommodating person. He was a gentle soul, full of love for others and a good clairvoyant.

Mang Mike was from a super rich family. His sisters were sent abroad to study in Spain. Mang Mike’s mother forced him to study engineering against his will. He was not good in mathematics and science so he shifted his study to liberal arts. He graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree with honors. His major study was in English. His parents and family were very happy with him. Mang Mike became a good concert pianist and was also a wonderful singer. He was compared to the famous Mario Lanza.

Unfortunately, most of his brothers and sisters were not interested in the family business. When his parents died, their family lost almost everything. This crisis was actually a great blessing in disguise for Mang Mike, as it drove him to search for spiritual truth. It drove him into the spiritual path. Mang Mike was also very generous and supportive of his immediate family.

Mang Mike spent many years spreading the Baha’i teachings. In spite of being overweight, he walked into the mountains to teach the Baha’i faith. He was indeed a good evangelist. He also taught the Baha’i faith in the national penitentiary. The conditions there were rather dangerous, yet he persisted in teaching the Baha’i faith. All of these qualities are very praiseworthy.

In 1981, Mang Mike was paralyzed due to a stroke. He was hospitalized, given proper medication and physical therapy while in the hospital and after being discharged from the hospital.

Later, MCKS visited him in his house in Cebu City where he was still bedridden and unable to walk. MCKS gave him two or three healing treatments using divine energy. After that, Mang Mike recovered rapidly and was able to walk and travel. In about August of that year, Mang Mike traveled from Cebu City to Cubao, Quezon City, where he stayed with his sister.

Both Mang Nenet Ranudo and Mang Mike later played important roles in Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga. Mang Dabon also played a very important role in the inner world through guided transferred clairvoyance during the experiments and provided assistance in healing.

The name of Mang Mike’s Spiritual Teacher was Holy Master Gemaliel.

Mang Mike left his body permanently on 15 February 2003.

Samuel’s First Meeting with Mang Mike

The first time I met Mang Mike was through Maning in 1971. He introduced me to a group of interesting people which included Mang Nenet and Mang Mike.

During my interactions with Mang Mike in Cebu, he did not do healing as he was a practicing clairvoyant reader who gave psychic readings.

In the later part of 1971, an interesting event occured during an afternoon at Mang Mike’s residence and bakery store. I saw him go into his bedroom. Later, I also went into the room but I could not find him. I noticed that there were subdued sparks of light in the room. I came out of the room, sat outside and continued my conversation with two of his bakers. I told the bakers that it would have been impossible for Mang Mike to leave the room without us noticing him because we were sitting just outside the door. They all agreed that it would have been impossible for him to leave the room unnoticed.

Later, during our lively conversation, Mang Mike shouted from inside the room, “Hey, you guys are very noisy”. When I went into his room, I was surprised to see him and asked him where he had gone. He replied that he had been teleported by his Master to a room in a hotel in Argentina, to attend a meeting with his Master and the rest of his Master’s disciples. He claimed that he did not teleport himself, but that he was teleported through the power of his Teacher.

Pranic Healing Experiments

MCKS visited Mang Mike regularly and would ask him to clairvoyantly monitor His healing experiments. In order to validate the findings, MCKS traveled every month to Cebu City to clairvoyantly cross-check the experiments with Mang Nenet. These two clairvoyants were not aware that their findings were being cross-checked against each other. Healing experiments were also done on many patients.

Nine Years of Hard Work

MCKS established a Pranic Healing Center in Kamuning Street. He was healing about 10 to 20 patients almost every afternoon from Monday through Saturday. Mang Mike was also healing other patients. This was done to further validate the Pranic Healing techniques for MCKs’ Advanced Pranic Healing book. This continued for about two years.

On April 9, 1933, Miguel C. Nator was born in Cebu with the special gift of clairvoyance.

There is no better tribute to a man than his works and the lives that he has touched. The acronym U.N.I.C.O.R.N. encapsulates Mang Mike – who he is and what his mission stands for. The Union for National Involvement Concerning Operations to Regenerate the Nation is a movement he founded to rally the Filipino people towards spiritual regeneration and transformation. It rallies everyone to the task of raising their country’s spiritual consciousness.

Mang Mike teaches us that there are seven steps to this process:

  1. Development of harmlessness or non-injury in thoughts, words, feelings, and actions.

  2. Development of inclusiveness by regarding every man a child of God.
  3. Development of self-forgetfulness and selflessness in the service of God.
  4. Demonstration of good thoughts and ideas translated into practical deeds through positive goodwill.

  5. Donate intelligently and wisely with loving kindness – time, effort and money to the Great Plan of God.
  6. Meditate and Study regularly and conscientiously.
  7. Desire nothing for the separative self but desire all for the good of the other Self.

Mang Mike was a living testimony of his teachings. He showed us by example the virtues of harmlessness, selflessness, all-inclusiveness and the need for study, meditation and service. He personified unconditional love. He demonstrated his discomfort whenever he is addressed as Master. Not once did he ever claim to be one. The honorific title of Mang was sufficient.

The vehicle for spearheading the U.N.I.C.O.R.N. movement is Serve the U.N.I.C.O.R.N Fellowship Inc. (S.U.F.I.) and its educational arm I.S.I.S. SUFI-ISIS is the vehicle for service and for spreading wisdom. It is Mang Mike’s wish that everyone becomes a light worker not only for the Philippines but for the whole world.

Mang Mike was also a Filipino Baha’i who was influenced greatly by the tenets and writings of Baha’ullah such as Hidden Words, Gleanings from the Writings of Baha’ullah, Kitab-i-iqan, Book of Certitude.

Ricardo B Serrano would like to thank and acknowledge Mang Mike for introducing him to the Baha’i faith two decades ago for healing and spiritual awakening. See Cosmic Christ Consciousness

Baha’ullah, divine teacher

About the Baha’i Faith

“The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens.” – Baha’ullah

In just over one hundred years the Baha’i Faith has grown from an obscure movement in the Middle East to the second most widespread world religion after Christianity. With some 8 million adherents in virtually every corner of the globe – including people from every nation, ethnic group. culture, profession, and social or economic class – it is probably the most diverse organized body of people on the planet today.

About Baha’u’llah

Its founder, Baha’ullah, taught that there is one God, Who progressively reveals His Will to humanity. Each of the great religions brought by the Messengers of God – Abraham and Moses, Krishna, Buddha, Zoroaster, Jesus, Muhammad, the Bab – represents a successive stage in the spiritual development of the human race. Baha’ullah, the most recent Messenger in this line, has brought teachings that address the moral and spiritual challenges of today’s world.

The Baha’i Faith teaches that there is only one human race and that religion should be a source of unity; condemns all forms of prejudice and racism; upholds the equality of women and men; confirms the importance and value of marriage and the family; establishes the need for the independent investigation of the truth; insists on access to education for all; asserts the essential harmony between science and religion; declares the need to eliminate extremes of wealth and poverty; and exalts work done in a spirit of service to the level of worship.

Baha’is believe that religion should be a dynamic force that raises the individual, family, and community to new spiritual heights. To this end Baha’is all around the world work to create an atmosphere of love and unity in their own lives, in their families, and in their communities.

Let me enlighten this article with the legend and symbol of the Unicorn as taught by my late beloved Unicorn Meditation Master Miguel Nator, “there lived a fierce, horse-like beast that roamed the earth. Its savage spirit could only be tamed by the touch of a virgin. Once touched, the beast is transformed into a noble white steed marked by a long, singular horn at the center of its forehead. In its spiritual ascent, a pair of wings appear to free the Unicorn from its earthly bondage forever.

The Unicorn is likened to Man – part animal, part divine. Its fierceness and savagery represent and signify the animal nature. Its whiteness represents purity and signifies the divine nature. The taming of the Unicorn by the touch of the virgin signifies the taming of the animal nature in man by the awakening influence of his higher self, or soul, symbolized by the virgin. The long horn symbolizes the achievement of right fusion or the integration of man’s lower and higher self.

Until man awakens to the touch of his own soul who virtually tames and controls him to return to the center of his being, he remains veiled. Because of this, the acronym UNICORN is a fit symbol of the program of regeneration and of the self transforming man. The colors that surround him represent the key activities involved towards achieving transformation. Violet for Meditation, Green for Service, and Blue for study.”
